last night: lessons in taxidermy

last night i spent almost four hours sitting in the front row of the fourth (somewhat) annual taxidermy showdown. part of the science sessions at the bell house and union hall, this event was amazing. the first photo is of the winner's fighting / dancing cats. his taxidermied wonder beat-out over 40 challengers - ranging from albino mice escaping a lab to one fella's two-headed baby that he made from his own skin. shit.you.not. will try and find some video of the event and links, but all-in-all: WOWZERS.
